Force Majeure
The Maison shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- floods;
- war;
- acts of terrorism;
- epidemics or pandemics;
- strikes;
- transport disruptions;
- failures of telecommunications or computer networks;
- governmental actions or restrictions;
- shortages of raw materials;
- or any other event qualifying as force majeure under the applicable legislation.
In such circumstances, the Maison shall be entitled to suspend or extend the performance of its obligations for the duration of the force majeure event.
